Pros: makes long car rides with kids bearable
Cons: battery life, as previous reviewers pointed out: DON'T LOSE THE REMOTE or you're scr***d

| cooper222's Full Review: Apex Digital PD-450 5 in. Portable DVD Player |
Best feature for me is compatibility with mpeg files burned to data dvd (disc don't have to be formatted for video dvd/cd). I record shows with the video capture card on my computer and burn them to dvd for later viewing on the apex. Because I use it mostly to watch recorded tv, having the 5" screen in 4:3 aspect ratio is better than a 7" screen in 16:9. Image quality is adequate for how I use it, this is only for the kids on long car rides or myself on plane trips, if I cared about image quality that much I would break out the laptop. Build quality seems decent, so far hasn't had a problem reading anything I've thrown at it.
