I've been working with this machine for quite some time now. It has its high points and low points like everything. The first thing i noticed about it was the resolution. For a notebook, 800x600 is insane to try to work with. The second thing i noticed was that it booted up slowly. This is with doubled memory. After some use, I upgraded to Mac OS X Jaguar. I think while it was booting, I went and built a computer. It takes forever. I believe the minimum memory for X was 128 MB. For grins, I took the extra 64 out. Ran just as slow, not faster, not slower. The thing has excellent battery life. The keyboard feels good, and is easy to type with. The touch pad feels better than most I've used, but there aren't any defined edges to it. Its flush with the casing. I liked the fact that it has a built in handle. That makes transportation very easy. Not much can be done with modem, ethernet, USB, IEEE1394, and headphone/video ports. The only way this can be upgraded is with memory. And that doesn't do much good. The weight is nice, it's not a huge load to be carrying around. Honestly, it's not worth the money. If the price was cut in half, I'd definitely say go for it.
