emmjay's Full Review: Apple iPod 3rd Generation White (10 GB) MP3 Player
I love my Ipod. No two ways about it. Great sound, Durable, easy to use and set up. Great sound quality and capacity.
That being said, there are a few things... Not real bad but, still... worth mentioning.
First, the cost is very high. This is true of most Apple products however and we usually know that going in.
Second, and I can't seem to say this enough about any mp3 or mini disk player I have used. "There is no support for Gapless playback!!!!!" This is a big deal especially if you like concept or live albums GRRRR!!!!
Third, The battery life is not as good as expected or as promised by Apple. I get about 6 hours (Roughly!).
Fourth, Every time I have had to reset My Ipod the default screen settings are barley readable.
Now for some of the good things, The ITunes software seems to be the best and easiest software that I have used. even with all the features it has, the interface is not so busy as to confuse and seems to be very stable on both win 2k and XP.
The ipod has a lot of uses including pda like functions and you can also use it for file transfers.
All in all, the ipod is a winner. I still recommend it and stand by it's performance.
