A few years ago I went on the Alaska cruise aboard this ship with my family and it is and will be a vacation I will never forget. We boarded in Vancover and headed up into Glacier bay and made port in three towns including the state capital of Alaska, Juneau. First of all the staff aboard the ship was extremely friendly and courteous to my family and especially to me and my two brothers. We, as kids, were treated great there was always stuff to do for us, a great arcade the great views, and just playing around on the ship. I cannot stress how great the staff was they were catering to our every need, not necessarily my brothers and mine but needless to say they made the trip. The service combined with the amazing scenery of Alaska and seeing the glaciers breaking off into the blue waters made it great even for a ten year old. Also we went on many day trips onto the mainland. We went white water rafting, canoeing, and took a zodiak out along the rocky shores. So the packages the directors on the ship put together are also wonderful. This all comes at a decent cost if I recall and is worth every bit you put into it if not more. Also I recall that the other guests on the ship were also courteous and added to the awesome atmosphere on board, and since there weren't too many other kids on board it was relaxing for them, too.
I guess the only bad thing was the fact that the trip was only 10 days, but they also do longer cruises for those with that desire.
