My husband, brother, sister in-law and I recently took the 4 Night Baja Cruise in October for my 30th birthday. We had such a great time! The cruise left on a monday and we sailed from San Pedro to San Diego, Catalina and then Ensenada, the cruise returned on Friday. We only paid $399.00 per person (included food), which is much less than most cruises. Our room was small but was always kept clean by our room steward, the food was incredible, I think we ate more than we should have. The ship is the smallest in the Royal Caribbean Fleet, but it was just right for a short cruise. There was plenty to do on board like gambling, bingo, swimming, day spa, buffet, shows, game shows, horse racing, karaoke, dancing, eating and plenty of drinks. We had second seating for dinner, I think I would choose first seating next time, Our waiter Ivelin was from Bulgaria and our assistant waiter Steven was from Jamaica, they served us like we were royalty. Our waiters brought us anything we asked for, even when it was not on the menu. The service from the ships staff was above and beyond their duties.

We rented a car in San Diego and toured the city on our own. We visited Old Town, Balboa Park and its many museums, and we also road the roller coaster down at Mission Bay Park.
In Catalina we played miniature golf, toured the city on foot, shopped, and rode the glass bottom boat. There is a lot to do on the island including renting golf carts.
In Ensenada we took a bus tour to La Bufadora (The Blowhole) for $10.00 per person, the tour included a shopping trip, La Bufadora, a buffet lunch, and a visit to Papa's & Beer, as well as a ride back to the ship.
I will definitely be taking another cruise with Royal Caribbean in the future. I recommend this cruise for anyone on a budget wanting to have a quick getaway. Remember, if you went to all of the places on your own it would cost you a lot more.
