I must say that I may be a bit biased, but I love the Sky Princess. It holds a special place in my heart since that is where I met my husband 14 yrs ago when it was still the "Fair Sky" owned by Sitmar cruises.
We both worked on the ship. He was a photographer and I worked in the gift shops. We got to know this ship inside and out on a daily basis. We worked 6 months on and one month off for 3 yrs.
About 1/2 way thru, it was bought by princess cruises and went in for some refurbishing. It is a beautiful ship although not as big as some of the new ones these days so you still get a more intimate "family" like atmosphere.

It has 2 dining rooms, a pizzeria, a movie theatre, gym with massages available, a full service beauty salon, photo shop where you can buy pictures or get yours developed, several gift shops including jewlery store, drug store, liquor store, as well as china and crystal, there is also a casino on board. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Most staff are either italian or british. There is always something to do if you want to or you can do nothing at all. It has several pools and jacuzzi's as well.

Some of my favorite cruises were Alaska. The scenery is just beautiful and there are so many adventure available there too. You can take a helicopter and walk on top of a glacier, you can go river rafting or salmon fishing. Or go on a nature tour and see the wildlife like bears,or moose. Not to mention the whales we would see every cruise. Alaska is truly breath taking.
