The Bottom Line: Battery life is actually around 9-10 hours for MP3s, but they don't give much for options.

Everyone else on the net is getting around 3 hours video playback time, which is about what most portable DVD players get. Not to mention this isn't a Desktop unit, so why in the world would you compare it to some crappy Dell desktop computer?
I'd like to see you take your Dell Desktop on a walk or in the car with you.
Comparing it to a computer of any kind is silly. A better comparison would be to the Apple IPod which is almost as expensive and doesn't have 80% of the features. Its truly in a class of its own till RCA and other companies get their units to market.
PROS:
First to market with a revolutionary new technology. A hand held entertainment unit, Camcorder and Digital camera. There is a lot of functionality in this handheld unit and the best part is its functions work as advertised. Unlike those old players with the 2" screens you couldn't see or units with out the capacity for quality videos. Its a Tivo on the go and more.
CONS:
First to market, so it will likely have problems that will be ironed out in future models. It has a lot of features
