No more plucking, tweezing or waxing! I was browsing one day and saw the Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer at my local Linens and Things store and out of curiosity, decided to bite the bullet and try it. At $10, it was a bargain compared the price I had seen it advertised on TV, which was more like $14.99 + shipping & handling. When I took it up to the counter to pay, I asked the young lady working there if they had sold many of them. She replied, "oh just about 10,000 and none of them are returned!"

I found that this product is perfect for those troublesome stray hairs and sensitive areas that require hair removal.
It is easy to use and easy to pack and take along with you on trips or vacations because it is so compact. It is just about the same size of a mascara or lipstick tube. It comes with a protective cover that easily snaps into place. It is a very tiny razor, about ½ inch in length. There is only 1 AAA battery needed which is not included when you purchase your Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer. There is nothing to plug in, which is convenient. This product is also very quiet, much quieter in fact, than a regular shaver.
"Removes Hair Instantly and Pain Free".
Yes, this is really true. Even with the tiny razor, it is sharp enough to do lightweight trimming and never pulls or pinches.
"It also comes with an attachment for grooming eyebrows and even those troublesome unibrows".
Good information to know, although I personally do not have a unibrow!
Also comes with an Eyebrow Comb Attachment for after you finish trimming your unibrow.
The manufacturer recommends that you use the Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer in the direction in which the hair grows. This is to prevent ingrown hairs and bumps from forming from irritated skin.
"It erases hair!" Well, it doesn't exactly erase hair and since it is a very small razor, you may get the stubble effect also.
Although I like this product, I find that it is on the flimsy side. For no reason at all, the inside plastic piece inside the top part came off when I took it out of my medicine cabinet. I wasn't handling it roughly in any way. It is made of light weight metal. I was able to snap it back on and it does continue to work, but it is fairly fragile and I have to be careful not to handle it too roughly. Has a small metal cap and small on-off switch. Is about 5 inches in length.
I like the Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer, but really use it just occasionally. It is good for light hair removal jobs, but for some of the heavier hair removal projects you might have in mind, such as the ones shown on television, I believe someone would have a hard time. My husband and sons do not use it at all, but then again, they have a lot more hair to deal with.
"Cleaning your Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer": Do not use water at all on the Finishing Touch. When you purchase your Finishing Touch, it comes with a small brush to aid in the removal of hairs in the trimmer.
It is recommended that you first try it out on your leg or arm, just to make sure does not cause skin irritation or pain for you. It was not painful at all for me, so I next tried it near my eyebrow. It worked just fine and removed some stray hair quickly and easily. You also do not have to push down or use excessive pressure on your skin at all for good results.
Comes also with a two-sided comb attachment which I found is wonderful for trimming wild eyebrow hairs that have gone astray. This can also easily be used by men when trimming their mustaches.
The shorter side of the comb is recommended for trimming mustaches while the longer side should be used for longer hairs, such as eyebrow hairs. It is quite easy to attach the comb attachment onto the trimmer head. All you need to make sure to do is line up the grooves and slide it on the trimmer head.
You are able to wash the removable comb attachment if necessary, but the instructions state that it must be completely dry before using your Finishing Touch again.
If you have a few stray hairs that you would like to clean up easily, the Finishing Touch Hair Removal Wand is for you. Otherwise you can achieve probably the same results with a regular razor or shaver.
