EQX Makes the bad sound good

Pros:This is a powerful tool that will deliver the goods for any grade of system
Cons:Have to open chassis and snap in different resistor sets to change the frequency
I just installed two of these units in a tour bus, where in we used two bazooka subs, we kept the 8 crappy factory in-ceiling satellite speakers for cost reasons, and opted for 2 Parasound Z-amplifiers to power them. After we got the whole thing fired up I was very surprised, the audio control equalizer made short work of the bad areas of the satellite speakers and they now actually sound quite good. The separate eq for the low end works quite well also. I like the A/B switch that turns the Eq on and off for reference.
