Pros: Good as a priced player, loud and great sound quality, skip protection, easy to use.

Cons: A little noise made by the tape.

This player is great! I have the Sony DE509 and this one--one for home and one for my car. Both are great but the Audiophase is much cheaper. The Aduiophase has been playing my mp3 CDs for more than 3 months without stop on my car, NEVER skip, Never stop playing midway, everything is fine so far. I dropped it on the floor once but still working as before. But the tape (in the car kit) makes some noise, which is tolerable and diusappears when you turn the volume at middle or low-mid level. Very satisfied.
