I got this cd/mp3 player for $24.99 so i can't really complain. It takes about ten seconds for an mp3 cd to load, which my friends tell me is long.
I should also point out that the car kit comes with both the cd to cassette convertor and a power plug that goes into your car's cigarette lighter hole. When I was buying this cd player online, it didn't point that fact out. Sony sells a car kit that comes with the stuff i just mentioned for twenty bucks. so paying an additional five and getting a mp3/cd player is a pretty sweet deal.
The cassette that comes with the car kit sometimes keeps on flipping in my car cassette player, making me unable to listen to the cd/mp3 player. every now and then i have to take the cassette out and blow any small specks dust off so that it'll play again. but this could be something you have to do for every cd to cassette player (i'm not sure because this is my first one).
I've had this cd/mp3 player for a couple of weeks now and it's been doing good so far. I haven't checked the battery life of it yet, but judging from an old audiophase cd player i got, i'd suppose it's pretty bad.
I reccommend this for a cheapskate who just wants to listen to mp3/cd's in his/her car and nothing else fancy.
