Oh 151, how I loathe thee!
I drank this garbage once at a club, just because I wanted to try the strongest thing that they had. The one or 2 shots that I had were ok. I decided to buy a bottle (1.5L I think). That was such a mistake.
I drank a shot here and there, but I know not why. One night I got really depressed. I decided to take the 151 out of my desk drawer. Since all I had was a double shot glass, that's what I used. I had 2 1/2 double shots in about 1/2 an hour. I began to feel numb quite quickly. Surprisingly enough, I actually remember what was on TV that night. An episode of "Total Recall 2070". Anyway, I won't go into details about what happened afterward, except to say that my body spent much of the night expelling the alcohol.
I tried 151 on a later date, but I mixed with something this time. Lipton's Brisk iced tea. It still didn't work. Even though the 151 was slightly less than 1/2 of this mixture, it was still overpowering. I could barely keep it down.
A couple other times I tried to drink 151, but the smell prevented me from doing so. I eventually gave the 1/2 full bottle to a friend, because I just couldn't stand the stuff any longer.
Bacardi 151 Rum is one of the most vile beverages known to humans. For anyone who wants to know, 151 tastes almost like pure alcohol(never tried it but heard about it), and smells like it too, only stronger. If you're not a drinker, the smell can knock you backwards. Unless you like getting sick, have the constitution of a horse, or make 151 just a tiny part of a mixture, don't drink it. I regretted it, and I'm sure you will too.
