The technically 3rd PC game in the Battlefield series, Battlefield 2 offers a 64 player modern battlefield. Use tanks, airplanes, helicopters or even humvees to trample your enemy. You can choose to play for 3 different nations, the United States, the People's Republic of China or the Middle Eastern Coalition. The game features multiple maps and have you hooked on for hours on end. The game also features 6 playable classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, Medic Spec Ops, Medic, Anti-Tank and Sniper. It also has a global ranking system which can tell you how you rank against every other Battlefield 2 player. It can also tell you your personal statistics, such as number of kills and deaths, numbers of kills with a specific weapon or vehicle, etc. I bought this game the week it came out and have not stopped playing it yet. Although the game can get boring when you are just playing on public servers all the time, joining a clan or organization can really boost the fun factor. Teamwork is an essential part of this game. I have even had the chance to play the latest Battlefield game, Battlefield: Bad Company, and must say that Battlefield 2 is still the best game in this series.
