Pros: Compact, all in one bass solution. Easy to install and set up.
Cons: None so far....
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Bazooka tube for someone who wants to add rich, full bass to your system, but doesn't need to win any contests with it.
cruz1n's Full Review: Bazooka BTA10100 Car Subwoofer
After using the Bazooka tube for about a week, I'm very impressed with the way it added rich, full bass to my system. It was a breeze to set up, and very affordable. The reason I opted for the Bazooka tube was its smaller size and ease of removal if needed. And, since it's an amp and sub all in one, wiring and installation was as simple as wiring up a set of speakers. I chose to wire it from the preamp out rca jacks on the back of my head unit directly to the tube. Then, all I had to wire was power and ground, and a remote turn on wire (so it stays on all the time - even at very low volume) and away I went!!!
After the install, I can turn down the bass completely at the head unit, turn up the bass on the tube itself, and my speakers are only handling the mids and highs so I can really crank em up with for crisp, clean sound. The bass tube more than handles the rest.
If you are planning to install this unit, I would recommend the optional volume control which simply plugs into the tube and allows you to control the bass volume from the dash without having to adjust it at the tube.
