Pros: Good for kids if $10 or less, easy to use.
Cons: Worse picture quality I have seen in a camera.
The Bottom Line: Buy this camera for the kids and only if it is $10 or less. No such thing as a good quality digital camera under $100 (as of yet).

Unless you are buying one of these for $10 or less you got ripped off. These cameras would be decent for kids who just want to post some quick snapshots on the net but not much else.
I wasn't expecting superb picture quality when picking up a 1/4MP camera but I was expecting that you could at least tell what you were taking a picture of. I didn't care that it didn't have a flash or it was very low on features (hey let's face it, it is dirt cheap) but you should be able to at least make out what you have taken a picture of.
The camera is a snap to set up and the software doesn't get any easier for uploading pics. However, after uploading pics to my camera, I couldn't believe how blurry and crappy the picture looked (and this was on the highest resolution). I assumed that I was at fault (ie not the proper distance, bad lighting, etc.) so I tried to be more cautious on the next couple of rounds. The pictures turned out a little bit better but with as much effort as I put into them the quality was no where near what it should be. The point of a "point and click" style camera is to deliver decent quality photos with minimal effort, this camera completely fails to do this. I remember that one pic I took of my cat was at the perfect range and didn't have too much or too little lighting. The pic was weird. My cat didn't turn out too bad but all of the trees around him were just a green swirling blur. Almost as if he had got sucked in to a vortex of swirling green.
The max resolution on this thing is 322X288 which is just terrible. It holds 19 pictures on this setting. I don't see why they even bother giving you an option of a lower resolution. They claim that this thing can be used as a web cam but with pictures that bad, I can't see how this thing could possibly be used as a webcam.
The bottom line: This camera is only good if you can pick one up for $10 or less. As mentioned above it might actually be a good starter camera for one of the kids. There is no such thing (at this point anyways) as a decent digital camera under $100. When replacing this thing, I did extensive research and found that to be the case. I would personally recommend no less than a 3MP camera for decent picture quality. Anything less is just to pixelated and fuzzy to be worth spending any kind of money on.
