| gujustud's Full Review: BenQ (M310) Mouse |
Its been a while since I've last written any reviews, but I think its time I start again. My first review, comes with the BenQ M310 Travel Mouse.
For about 2 years, I've been using a wireless logitech mouse. The base was pretty big and also had a 5' cable attached, so as you can imagine, connecting it via USB port, while sitting in the airplane was a little annoying.
Now comes the BenQ M310 mouse. I saw it first hand at my girlfriends brothers place. Needless to say, after seeing what it was capable of, I bought one once I returned home.
Few things:
1) the mouse is small. This 'may' pose a problem to some people if you don't like small mouses. I for one hand, don't mind it, and secondly its EXTREMELY nice and compact specially for travelling.
2) The base is inside the mouse. Huh? Say again?
Thats right, the USB key is INSIDE the mouse. By pressing a small button on the top/middle of the mouse, it EJECTS the usb key from the back of the mouse. You then pull it out, plug it into your computer, and you're ready to go. There is also a little door that pops down, and covers the hole where the USB key comes out so no dirt gets in.
Tech Specs:
-800 dpi Wireless Optical Technology
-Automatic Power On/Off For Extended Battery Life
-Wireless Technology 27Mhz

-Scroll Wheel: Yes
-Glowing Scroll Wheel: Yes

Receiever: 0.7" x 0.3" x 2.1" (Stores Inside)

Final Conclusion? Superb Mouse for the price. I especially recommend it for those who travel, and don't like to use the touchpad. It is extremely light, comes with its own travel bag, automatically turns off when the USB key is inside, or you just happen to leave it, which means it saves tons of power. For $30cdn you CANNOT go wrong, and it seems like more and more retailers are starting to carry this mouse.
