| shaunknee's Full Review: Bosch WFMC 3200 Front Load Washer |
My wife and I needed a new washer after our trusty top-loading Maytag finally started leaking. We priced out a couple of machines and almost decided on the Whirlpool. However after reading the reviews on this site we decided on the more expensive Bosch. I picked it up and installed it myself, requiring only slightly more skill than a standard washer.
As soon as I opened the box the quality of the machine is obvious. We were not let down after running a few loads. Immediately the brightly colored shirts looked brighter and cleaner.
The capacity is moderately smaller that the large capacity top loading Maytag and the Bosch washer takes between 3 and 4 times longer to run through the cycle.
The unit is very quiet during most cycles. When it spins in probably generates as much noise as when our Maytag was in the wash cycle.
We hang the majority of our loads and this machine has dramatically reduced drying time. I am sure that it would pay for itself very quickly if we used a dryer regularly.
As for durability we can only wait and see. We have run about 50 flawless loads up to this point.
