Love the front load Bosch

Pros: Clothes are supper clean. Love the hand wash cycle and the delay start.
Cons: A bit expensive, but so far well worth the extra dollars.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this washer, but read the manual and follow the instructions exactly. I did and have experience absolutely no problems.

I purchased the washer and dryer about a month ago. I read all the reviews before I purchased the set. Therefore purchased with my eyes wide open. Everything is working as advertised. Our clothes look cleaner, as well as feel cleaner. I use a speciality non perfumed HE washing detergent. We also made sure the machine was level before we did the first load. We find the washing machine very quite compared to our previous machine.
We have not had any problems. I am washing everything I can, including items that I previously hand washed. The garments have about the same about of water left in them, as if they had been wrapped in a towel after hand washing. These are items that require drying flat and some are very delicate.
I find that clothes wash and dry in about the same amount of time as my old washer and dryer, perhaps a little faster because the Bosch dryer is faster. Yes the wash takes longer, but I have also used the delay start to have a wash done when I get up in the morning. This is a great feature.
As to leaving the door open to dry out the washer. The machine is very well sealed so that water does not leak during the washing cycle. I noticed that it is best to leave the soap dispenser open and I use a clothes peg to keep the door ajar after each use. This seems to be working very well. After a day or so, I take the clothes peg out when I happen by the washing machine.
