My husband loves to charcoal on a grill. He can’t wait until Spring and Summer each year to be able to have people over and have a huge barbeque. He also does a lot of grilling just for our family of 4, but he really enjoys having a lot of friends over for a swim in the pool and some good old Texas barbeque.
Our old grill is falling apart so the boys and I decided to buy him a new one for his birthday. We looked around quite a bit and found this Brinkman Grill King Deluxe Charcoal Grill and Smoker and knew that my husband would love it. Let me tell you a few reasons that I knew my husband would love this grill.
Why I Knew My Husband Would Love This Grill
1. This grill has a gigantic cooking surface! The fact that my husband loves to cook for lots of people and with the Brinkman King Deluxe having such a large cooking surface, I knew they were made for each other. The book that came with this said that it would handle over 75 lbs of food. You can cook ribs, burgers, chicken and vegetables all at the same time and have plenty of room.
2. With this grill you can use charcoal or wood whichever you would rather use. My husband really enjoys cooking with charcoal and uses wood chips to flavor the food, so I knew this would make him very happy.
3. The Brinkman King Deluxe is made of a very heavy material, but is equipped with wheels for easy moving. We sometimes load up our grill and go to the lake for a barbeque; the wheels will make this easier for my husband to move since it is so heavy.
4. The adjustable shelf for different kinds of cooking and the temperature gauge on the front of the grill will give my husband a way to judge when the fire is just the right temperature for what he is cooking that day.
What I Like About This Grill
The above reasons made me know that my husband would love this grill, but here is why I really like this grill. It has an easy to remove rack that makes it easy to clean. I really like the fact that it is not just a grill; it can also be used as a smoker and I really enjoy when my husband smokes ribs or brisquits for Sunday Dinner. With this grill we don’t have to have both a grill and a smoker the Brinkman King Deluxe is both a smoker and a grill, so now we can get rid of that old smoker that is about to fall apart. I also like the wooden work stations on each side of the grill, it gives me somewhere to sit the spices, utensils and foil my husband uses when smoking or grilling.
Final Thought
Our entire family loves this grill. My husband loves the way it cooks and the rest of us love the way the food tastes that he cooks on this grill. If you really enjoy cooking with charcoal and are looking for a large grill with the capabilities to also be a smoker, then look no further than The Brinkman King Deluxe. This is one great grill!!
