I purchased this game for my three year old for Christmas, but hid it so well that I lost it! I then got her the handheld version instead. Turns out that it isn't as captivating as I first thought it would be.
Well, I finally found the CD and boy am I glad! After only playing it one evening she has already developed mouse skills better than my 31 year old husbands! That and the fact that this game is alot better than her sitting in front of the television all evening. Getting a three year old to ignore television is not that easy either. Now she is begging to play Candy Land.
My daughter had fun going to the six different areas in the game and earning a piece of candy to feed to Gloopy the molasses moat monster. I so impressed at how fast she learned. I feel that it is a great game for a beginner and it increases in difficulty as they learn.
It is well worth the price. She is learning about colors, alphabet, reaction time, sequences, and patience. The only real drawback with this game is that you have to share computer time!
