Pros: Excellent photo quality, easy and smart software. The photo paper adapter is genius!!

Cons: Card readers/LCD screen not needed. Spend $ to make faster. Adapter won't take 5"X7" paper.

The Bottom Line: Decide if the Cannon 960 or i900D is right for you. The 960 is faster but has less features. Print quality is identical.

This printer prints with amazing color accuracy. I upgraded from an Epson stylus photo 780. The difference in quality is very noticeable.
Without getting technical on the color reproduction and photo resolution quality (I couldn't anyway), I'll just leave it at this: I shopped around, and there's no way you'll find a better printer at this price or less. Go check one out or check the review on Steves-digicams.com.

I bought this model over the Canon 960 because of the fact that it has an adapter that takes 4"X6" photo paper, while regular 8 1/2 " X 11" sheets fit behind it (no adjusting mechanisms to switch between the two paper sizes).
The card readers and LCD screen for direct printing (while a very handy feature for some maybe) aren't needed as the photo printing software is so easy to use and you're going to download the pictures to your computer anyway, right? I guess if you wanted to take the printer with you and leave your computer home the readers and LCD screen would be a tremendous feature. I did try it and although it's slightly less intuitive than the computer software it's easy to go through the menus and print your photos.
