weissm's Full Review: Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera
I purchased this camera for my wife to replace a 3 yr old Nikon Coolpix 800.
What a world of difference the 2 cameras are. I very rarely ever have to correct any of exposures taken with the Canon.
It has a multitude of different programs which allow for automatic settings for outside, clouds, pictures of TV, action and many others.
The movable screen is really a handy tool. She took a bunch of photos of her and the kids by flipping the screen around and being able to see the self photo as she took it.
Its movie feature is also great to send the Grand parents short 5 sec movies since they live 5 hrs away. (Any larger and you may run into mail servers not accepting such a large file about 2.5Mb @ 640x480)
Battery life is great, low light shooting we just love everything about this camera. Its really great to not have to snap on and off a lens cover as that is automatic too.
Lastly, its VERY easy to figure out the functions and how to change settings. The Icons are great. You can change many settings such as sounds, start up pictures shown and just about everything else. You can do this by either the camera or when you are attached to your PC via the Canon software.
Go try this out, you won't be disappointed for a 5MB point and shoot digital. I last thing, I bought this because I had 5 CF's and have many AA NMH batteries.
