the body is rugged,all your function buttons where you can access with out problems. like with any digital red eye is a problem. i have the adapter that lets you put on filters and i notice when you have it on and lenses at widest angle when using flash you have a shadow on your picture at the lower left corner of the picture of your adapter. But you can zoom out a little and it goes away. You get great pictures 'you have all the controls you need.
