Great review! Note camera speed increases when using a high-speed SD card (Reply to this comment)

A great and comprehensive review (perhaps a bit too comprehensive just for SD200, but a nice one comparing all available SD models nonetheless).
It should be noted that the camera takes pictures at much higher speeds if you use a high-speed SD card (the included 16MB card is not). If you plug in one, you should see that the camera can take about 2 pics per seconds (until the memory card fills up), versus the ~1 sec in your comment.

Pretty Good Review (Reply to this comment)

I wasn't aware that there was a G4, and as mentioned the SD500 hasn't even hit the shelves yet. A nicely laid out review as it is very organized and has some great information, but I would limit it to the SD200 and briefly touch on the differences between the SD200 and SD300 at the end. Great job! Thanks!

is not the same as the SD200/300/400 in that is uses the same sensor as the S400, S500 (both taking compact flash cards) while the SD500 takes SD cards.
SD500 also feature digital zoom, and extra features like that found in the SD400; and the same battery like that found in the ultracompact S20. It's like a hybrid between the Sxx, Sxxx, and SDxxx series. i've amended the review.

Although your comments should apply to the SD400 (Reply to this comment)

the SD400 and SD500 have not been released. The outer design of the SD500 has definitely changed but I'm unsure if the capabilities or functionality will be equal to or even greater than the SD200/300 line (other than the megapixel capture issue). The SD400 will probably be similar to the SD200/300 in function since the overall design hasn't really changed.
The SD500 does have several new features as per the Canon website and the pictures of the unit... especially with the mode dial being so prominent on the SD500.
I think the SD500 shouldn't be included in your review comparison since the modifications could greater change the ease of use and the handling of the camera. It doesn't seem that the difference between the SD500 and the SD200/300 is a simple 7.1 MP sensor change.
