drumman09's Full Review: Canon i450 InkJet Printer
I was looking for a cheap printer. I usually print text papers, and also have Epson photo 960, so I didn't have to buy expensive one.
After I read some reviews from here, I decided to get Canon i450 for me.
The printer is around $50 range, but if you try to get a discount coupon, you can easily find it as I did.
Sticker price was $49.99, but I have $15 off coupon, so I could get this printer for about $35 + tax.
Installation is little bit tricky, but if you follow step by step, you will not have a problem.
Quality of printing is much more than I was expected.
Text printing was great and fast. Picture or color printing is not that good with plain paper, and slow, but if you use heavier or expensive paper, quality of printing is improved.
Ink cartridge is cheap. In retail stores, you can get around 8-9 dollars for black, and around 15-20 dollars for color. However, if you get compatible cartridge from internet, you can get black cartridge for 2-4 dollars, and color cartridge for 4-8 dollars.
This printer uses really small cartridge, so you should expect to change ink cartridge often.
You can't get better than this printer with 35 dollars.
