Pros: Very user friendly. Great quality and realiability. #1 manufacturer 13 years running
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the IR330 for the office looking for a no-compromise, great quality copier not needing the bells and whistles that other manufacturers put in their copiers.

Canon is the #1 manufacturer of copiers (Source: DataQuest) and the IR330 is a big reason why. This is perhaps one of their most successful, if not the most successful, product Canon has ever developed. It can fit in almost any type of office environment. Similar to the Ricoh Aficio 350 and the newer Afcio 1035 it is a digital system that can just simply be a copier that comes standard with 2 user adjustable trays which can hold 1,000 total sheets and fit letter, legal and ledger sized paper. A bypass is standard also that can fit an additional 50 sheets. The std 16MB RAM and 10.0 GB memory helps the user manipulate their copies. When all the way configured to a network device that allows for faxing and printing @ speeds of 33 images per minute as well copy at 33 pages per minute you can really see the potential of this device. When configured with the Multi-PDL Network Print Board the IR330 becomes a powerful printing device. If you add the Super G3 Fax you now add the capability to do LAN Faxing (Fax from PC). There are 3 different finishers you can add to IR330. The simplest is a one tray single position staple finisher which can offset sort true page output as opposed to the old bin finishers which were limited sets to a max of only 30 pages. In other words, what do you do when you have a 40 page original if you have the old bin finishers, you used to have to marry pages by hand. Not anymore. The other 2 finishers add multiposition capability with the most pricey adding a booklet/magazine maker that staples at the spine. Both add 2 additional trays totaling 3 to separate faxes from copies from prints. User codes to manage different users is standard on the IR330 as well as mailbox to enable users to scan in their hard copy documents and print them on an as-needed basis. The recommended image volume for the IR330 should not exceed 18,000 per month. Those needing anything higher should consider the IR400 and perhaps even the newer IR5000.
