Pros: EXCELLENT BASS RESPONSE FROM A SMALL ENCLOSURE!
Cons: A LITTLE PRICEY, flimsy hold-down straps.
The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with the Bazooka Bass Tube. It ROCKS!!

| BLHGOLF's Full Review: Bazooka RS8A Car Subwoofer |
I recently purchased a new 2001 Subaru Forester. It came with a 6 disc in dash cd-changer which is great, but needless to say the factory speaker system is less than desirable. I decided to go with an MB Quart component system
for all the in-door speaker locations, all driven by a 100
watt 4 channel amplifier. If you haven't yet listened to an MB Quart system, do yourself a favor and do so, these speakers are great.
Of course I needed to complete the new system with
some SERIOUS bass, and chose a BAZOOKA RS8A amplified
"base tube" subwoofer, and I'm glad I did!! Not only
do I get THUMPING BASS, but the RS8A adds just the right
amount of low-end to the other speakers as well. You not
only hear the low-end frequencies, you FEEL them.
The only drawbacks are that it was a little expensive, and the hold-down straps are a little cheap. I chucked the straps in favor of black plastic cable-tys that lock into place around the tube. If you have a Bazooka tube you might try them, they're available at any electronic/electrical store.
