Cons: Smallish remote, gets lost kinda easy in the car.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this deck to anyone who is looking to dump their stock factory head unit in place of a much higher quality unit. Excellent Product!
nfinitefx_'s Full Review: Panasonic CQ-DF203U Car CD Player
I picked up the Panasonic CQ-DF203U today at Circuit City for $169.99. They had it as a promo offer, buy a deck over $100 and get 2 free sets of Profile 6.5's, even though I didn't need the speakers, I went for the deal anyhow and got the deck. The stylish design, great sounding audio and easy to read face were all considerations when I was making the purchase. I also opted to buy the wiring harness to speed things along. I got the deck home and it was very simple to install. Took me just over an hour to get everything wired in. The only problem I ran into on my Mazda was I had to remove 2 side pieces, metal sort of chrome colored, in order to make top clearance to fit the deck back into the dash. Once I had all the connections made and the deck installed it was as easy as picking a CD to listen to and setting my presets for the radio. Very easy to use and understand, I didn't even need to crack the manual to figure out how to work the deck. Overall I think that the Panasonic CQ-FD203U is a great purchase for anyone looking to upgrade their stock radio unit with a much nicer aftermarket unit.
