I've owned my Pacifica for 2 years and it has served very well in the 60,000+ miles that I've traveled.
Fortunately, most of those miles are moving forward, as this car is very tough to navigate out of a parking space. On occasion I have literally run the last 20 feet to my car to back it out because I could see that no traffic were coming. If I am at the local Publix and people (especially kids) are milling about, I make a phone call and wait for everyone to clear. I simply can't see well enough to know that I'm not going to hit a pedestrian.
The Pros:
This is a great compromise for the person that needs a van, but doesn't want to be seen in one. For a family of 4, the seating and cargo space is more than sufficient. The Pacifica is one of the best riding cars I've found in its price range. I love the dash board with its bright lights and multiple dials and buttons.
I've taken this vehicle camping several times. It handles dirt roads better than I expected. The front wheel drive helps it stay on the road even in some slick conditions.
