I purchased the G35 AWD Sedan after my previous car of 12 years ('93 Altima) died. Since I assumed I would have the G35 for the next 12 years, I loaded it with every option (premium, chrome wheels, NAV, etc) except satellite radio.
I have had the car slightly over nine months now, and I am happy with the car, except for one thing: gas mileage. While I have a fairly short commute to work (about 8 miles), it is suburban stop-and-go. I am lucky if I get close to 16MPG. Highway driving I get closer to 22MPG. But this car drinks gas like it was still $1.50.
The car is solid, I have had no issues with it so far. I'm no audiophile, so the Bose sound system seems fine to me. I like the headroom, the back seats recline (not alot, like an airplane seat, but my friends say it makes a difference).
I actually don't mind that the screen is not a touch-screen. It keeps my passengers from smudging up my screen. I also love the fact the display lowers into the dashboard and is not visible when it's not in use. I think it gives the car a 'classy' appearance. LCD displays in car dashboards to me is like digital watches when they first came out. They were everywhere, but once the novelty wore off people went back to watches with hands.
The engine is no quiet (although I wouldn't call it loud), but if you are going to pay for the gas-guzzling, you may as well let other people know you have a decent engine.
