I love my new Xterra! I purchased the S version with the Utility and Power packages (and a few other utility things for the back). I am extremely satisfied. The sticker prices was a little over $25,000.00 but I bought the truck for approx $22,500.00 with 3.5% apr. It has tremendous horsepower (265 HP) and it really flies. It has all the utility you will ever need in an SUV but still has the ability to be an on-road capable vehicle. The comparable vehicles in this segment are all slightly lower priced (Santa Fe, Sorento, Vue, Escape, etc.) but are also nowhere near the truck that the Xterra is and all have 200 HP tops. My only qualms are that the interior materials, although incredibly good-looking and quality, are easily scratchable. Also, the radio and speakers on the base model are horrible. I am not used to the rougher ride as I've previously owned a Volvo and an Aurora but its very sporty and I love it. The roof rack looks great and also has a latchable cover for sandy shoes and towels that you wouldn't want to put inside your vehicle. The seats fold down to a perfectly flat, non carpeted, anti-skid surface which is great. The cloth seats are amazing and keep you very cool in the summer humidity!! It's like a webbed cloth mixed with a breathable fabric that doesn't feel or look like a 1980's couch (they use the webbed fabric for all of the seats in the new Pathfinder but not the Xterra unfortunately). The biggest wows in this vehicle are the horsepower, interior design and materials and incredible upgrade of the line from previous years. I would highly recommend this truck to anyone!!!
