endezeichen's Full Review: Celestron VistaPix 72200 Binocular
First off, if you want a digital camera just to talk pictures of yourself, or things like that, I wouldn't recommend buying one of these. While they are great for taking pictures of distant objects outdoors, they need a lot of lighting and about 20-25 feet for the minimum focus range. Anyone who has used binoculars before would know that sometimes focusing them could be a pain, so buying this product for a snap and go camera isn't a good idea.
If your the kind of person who likes to go hiking, or go to sporting events, this camera is the one for you. It also shoots up to 2 minutes of very clear video which can come in handy if you don't have the money for a video camera. But if your using it for video be sure to bring some extra batteries as they will only last you about a minute. If your using it just for pictures, your fine for quite a while.
Overall, this is a great product for the outdoorsman, and for the price, is great for kids too.
Just wanted to clear up something said in another review. He said the pictures were very bad. The pictures are very good. It must have been the low definition focus setting instead of high and/or he was too close. Lighting though, is a problem and a built in flash wouldnt be a bad idea.
