cd-mp3 player from Compaq sucks

Pros: good lcd screen, fm radio & control

Cons: skip a lot of songs & and also get frozen

The Bottom Line: there are better players for less money

Shortly,

I bought my PCD-1 in RadioShack. After a while, the player began to skip songs and get frozen. Then I went to get it back but they didn't receive my PCD-1 back.
I sent the player to the customer support and they just sent me a new one that do exactly the same (same problems). In other hand, a friend bought a generic player for 54$ and we compared everything. In conclusion, the generic player played all the songs and my PCD-1 did't play about 30 songs from the same CD.

The FM radio and the remote control works perfectly, but I bought it mainly to play CDs with MP3s, not for the extra options.

Finally, I recomend you look around because there are generic Player that play really good and are like a third of this expensive Compaq one. If you have any doubt reach me at mpartarr@hotmail.com
