| aussie_scouse's Full Review: Compaq iPAQ PCD-1 Personal CD Player |
I bought this as my first MP3 player from the local HP supplier in Australia, and am I disappointed!
I first inserted a CD of 180 MP3s and it wouldn't play, instead freezing up. The following day I contacted HP who fobbed me off with a story of how it does not play VBR MP3s (I've since found out that VBR format is very common.
I have however sucessfully played MP3s ripped from CDs with CDex, but have not yet been successful in using a CDRW.
The machine frequently freezes up, and I can only reset it by removing the batteries. The lid is also hard to open.
After just two days of ownership,I am just about to ask the supplier for a refund
