I've been using this for a little over year now, and I am exceptionally pleased with it. I mostly listen to podcasts in the car, and an Ipod is overkill for that purpose. I also don't want the sight of an ipod in my car to tempt someone to break into my car while parked downtown.
The controls are well placed and easy to use, the screen is a little on the small side to read in the car. I seem to get about 10 hours of playtime from a rechargeable AAA battery.
I also like the drag and drop convenience of having the device show up as a disk drive. I prefer to not have to use a proprietary program like Itunes or Musicmatch to get my files into the player.
I paid $60 for this a year ago, but it now sells for $40. A very good deal for the functionality.
