Pros: Neat when worked
Cons: Creative's non-customer support. Doesn't work with Windows XP.
The Bottom Line: This is a bad investment because of Creative's un-creative solutions to problems.

| jkingo's Full Review: Creative Technology Nomad Jukebox III (40 GB) MP3 ... |
Bought this thing in December, and it worked okay. They advise downloading from their site onto the portable unit. What you end up with is lots of unrequested songs, especially classical, that you then may want to remove (time-consuming).
My main problem is that after I upgraded to Windows XP, I can't download songs recorded onto my computer. Forget calling their help line; I gave up after half an hour on long-distance hold.
I e-mailed for assistance, but what they instructed was not possible.
Creative needs to provide replacement software, not patches of instruction. I'm computer literate, and I still couldn't follow the directions to make it work. Be wary of any company that offers horrible customer support.
