Pros: Light weight, easy to use, holds a lot for a non Hard drive player.
Cons: carrying case is a bit risky.
The Bottom Line: Great player all around. Just dont lose it out of the Belt clip case.

This is a Great High Capacity Mp3 player & Flash drive.
It is very small and very light weight. It holds roughly 60 songs and has the ability to transport 256 megs of data.
It lists for $149 all over town but I found it on walmart.com for $97. I thought it was a misprint but its still that price as I write this (Sept 22, 2004).
Features:
There are quite a few nice little features that I will go through here. I will present the bad as well as the good. Let's start off with one of the bad.
The only bad point to this player is the carying case/belt clip. It has a small hard plastic case with a belt clip that it fits into. This case seems to have a snug hold on the player but there is never a "click" or any kind of lock that holds it in to the case. You just have to go on faith that the case has a good hold on the player. I am constantly affraid that the player can easily fall out of the belt case.
Other then that item the rest is positive.
The player is very easy to load. You simply slide it out of the battery case plug it in to a USB port and it shows up instantly as a removeable drive. From there you just click and drag MP3s over to the drive and you are done. Very simple.
This player is also very light weight. This kind of scares me because when I think light weight I think easily breakable. However it has not broken yet and seems fairly sturdy.
Another nice feature is the voice recorder. You can use this just as you would a micro cassette recorder. You can record Class lectures, conversations, or memos to your self. It holds about 14 hours of recording. Which is coincidentaly how long the single AAA battery is rated at.
Sound Quality is Great! Of course much of MP3 music is dependant on the quality of your MP3 files. If you have good MP3s this player will sound great!
There is 5 Eq settings. Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical and Custom. Custom allow you to go through each of 5 slider bars and input your own settings as far as your highs and lows goes. (just like a real Eq)
It also comes with a set of ear bud headphones that sound pretty good right out of the box.
This is a great player/flash drive. I highly reccomend it, especially if you can get it for under $100.
