| MPrince's Full Review: Creative Technology Nomad MuVo NX (256 MB) MP3 Pla... |
I was hoping to find an MP3 for my morning walks. I was tired of having to decide between a diskman that skips every other step or a bulky walkman with a totally useless belt strap. This product is divine!
The Nomad could not be named more suitably. I can wander around town for hours with the feeling of my own personal soundtrack in my ears. It can hold up to approximately 60 songs (more than enough for one sitting or in my case, walking).
Now, I purchase MP3 versions of my favorite books and listen to them on the go. It doesn't quite rank as highly as curling up with a good book but for a busy life, its heaven.
As an added bonus, it also doubles as a recording device. I've used it all semester in my Philosophy class so I can take less notes and not worry about missing out on a single deep thought!
I've heard the going price is $149 which is a little steep but I found mine on Amazon.com for only $75 and I found them at other sites as well for under the top rate. Just do a little homework...its well worth the time.
