I bought out toaster a JC Pennys for $49.99. I was looking for a 4 slicer with bagel capabilities and this seemed to fit the bill.

I truly enjoy this toaster. As a family, we toast something almost everyday and this is an important appliance in our home. We mostly toast bagels, breads [white, rye, pumpernickel are the favorites] and frozen waffles.
[No one has attempted toaster strudels or pop-tart type products, so we dont know how they would work.]
Our favorite features: separate settings for each side, the bagel/frozen settings and the plunger knob that pushes your toast up if you are unable to grab it out. We are able to make our childrens toast [on a setting of 3] while I make our toast on the other side [setting 6]. I like that the bagel feature allows us to toast only one side of the bagel and the frozen setting produces a cooked waffle that isnt black/crusty on the outside and still frozen on the inside. It seems to slowly heat up so to defrost before it toasts. Works great!! By far, for me, is the neatest feature is when the toast pops up. If your toast is down in and you cant grab it? Cant find wooden tongs? Just push up on the lever and it raises your toast right out of the toaster. It took me a few weeks to discover this, but it was a great discovery and a great addition to the toaster.
One other cool feature is the warm button. If you make toast and dont butter it in time [for the spread to melt] you simply hit the warm button and pop it back down. It wont toast any more but heats it up nicely.
Two downfalls are the light toasting on one side and the clean up. Although I dont take exception to my toast being slightly lighter on one side than the other - it is true. You will have to flip the toast to have it the same color on both sides. I simply butter the darker side and enjoy. With clean up - the trays [underneath/in back] are easy to pull out and pour, that isnt my complaint. This particular toaster has a stainless top surrounded by the plastic shell. There is a lip on the plastic and underneath is the stainless top. So many crumbs become trapped in there I never feel as though I have been able to clean them all. I don t like that and end up tipping the toaster over the sink, but I know there are other crumbs down there.
I would still recommend this toaster.
