Cons: Cheaply made, didn't work, difficult to use
A few months ago I found this Repeater for rather cheap on-line. I tinkered with it for a few hours when I first got it, but i never actually got it to work. Since I was pretty upset, I decided that I would try again in a few days when I had the patience to waste my time with it.
Again, I never once got it to work correctly. (Sometimes I could get it to put out a very faint signal, but it would just fade away a few moments later) I am also using the approved D-Link router it said it was compatible with.
This little device carries a pretty hefty price tag. Even if it did work properly I don't think it would be worth the money unless you really need it.
With my experience with D-Link, if you ever have a problem with their products, the technical support is worthless. All you get is some guy from India that has no idea what he is talking about. So don't expect much help from them if you have any problems with it.
If this is something you really need, go for it, Otherwise just do without the hassle.
