| boogwar's Full Review: D-link DSC-350 Digital Camera |
Went down to my local reseller for a digital camera. Tired of no shows by my photographer (I'm an automotive journalist) so I decided to get one. Sony's were much too expensive so I decided to settle for this little guy. Went home, attatched it to my ghetto pc (AMD K6 - 2, 500Mhz, 327 MEG RAM, Windows 98 SE) expecting it to slot right in. No chance, you have to get a patch from Microsoft for it to work with 98 SE. Got it, and it worked!! Mine had the built in flash, So I don't know which camera the others got. Been taking pictures like mad, once you understand how to get around the menu, it works like it should. The pictures are sharp; If you want to edit them, you can use the bundled software, which is also very good (personally I'm a photoshop freak). Its a great little product.
