| dwoodruff's Full Review: Panasonic DVD-RP82 DVD Player |
This DVD player puts out a terrific progressive scan picture. Mine projects on a 100" screen, and the picture is very crisp, sharp, and the colors are very vivid. Much better than the Sony DVD player it replaces. The silver exterior is ugly, but at this price I can live with it in exchange for the great image it produces. It seems to be relatively sturdy; mine accidentally fell off a shelf from 4 feet high, did a front-flip, and landed upside down on hard concrete! It still works! The only downside is the horrible remote, with teensy little buttons that are not backlit. The guy who designed the remote should have to walk the earth, personally apologizing to every frustrated purchaser of this terrific DVD player.
