| mpmermaid's Full Review: Sony DVP-NS315 DVD Player |
Got this baby on a sweet deal ($59.95 new) and we are using it as a second unit in our bedroom. Takes every format imaginable (including MPG, VCD, DVD-R, and DVD-RW). Our first unit is a Toshiba SD2200 2-disc unit and it has served us well.
Some self-proclaimed video afficionadoes will have you convinced that the Sony DVP-NS315 Standard DVD is sub-par and it may be. But you won't be able to prove that by us -- we're delighted! It was a snap to set up and is a paper thin unit so didn't add too much weight or bulk to our video set-up.
Surprisingly, the Sony does not have a zoom feature and optimally, we'd love to have a more-than-one-disc-unit -- but we'll manage to survive.
