| seems's Full Review: Sony DVP-NS315 DVD Player |
I just purchased this unit to replace our Panasonic PVD4761, which has broken down 3 times in 14 months.
This unit just goes to show you can get a great image relatively inexpensively. We have it hooked up to our 4:3 TV with S-video, and the image quality is excellent, with no anamorphic distortion. The image quality is noticably better than what we got with our Panasonic unit. The slim design is also a big plus, as we can fit both it and a VCR on the same shelf. This way we can avoid going with a combo DVD/VCR unit.
The only negative is that the unit lacks some of the bells and whistles that a high-end user might want. But if you're a high-end user, you're not looking at this system. If all you want is a great image in a convenient package for a low price, I heartily recommend this model.
