| wokman69's Full Review: Sony DVP-NS315 DVD Player |
I just bought this player and at first was totally impressed with it until I played my first new release. The new release started with previews (which I hate), I quickly grabbed the remote and hit the fast forward button...to my utter amazement, a message popped up saying that this function was disabled by the disc. As soon as the actual movie started, I was then able to fast forward, but by that time I was totally peeved. My friend had just bought a new Panasonic progressive DVD so I asked him to try it out and he was able to fast forward and skip no problem. I would pass on this player for this reason alone. It appears like Sony may be thinking more of the movie industry (which they are a huge part of) than the movie watcher!
