Pros: Wide. Hope to make use of this someday.
Cons: Inconsistent wash quality, unreliable, service errors consistently displayed.
The Bottom Line: Unless Dacor does something to improve the reliability of this unit, or even gets it to a point where we can use it effectively, I would avoid purchasing this unit.

We purchased a Dacor dishwasher, having been impressed with the width of the machine and the impression that we would only have to do a wash once a day. Unfortunately, the machine's operation has been unreliable, and I would never buy one of these units again.
When the unit was first activated, it made so much noise we were afraid that we would get complaints from the neighbors. Since then, it has not improved. We consistently get an "F1" reading, which apparently is a non-specific error that simply indicates that the unit is not working. This happens on 1 out of 3 times we try to activate a wash cycle.
We've had a person at our house to service the machine, but since it did not demonstrate an "F1" error while the service person was present, there was nothing done to correct the problem. Tomorrow, the service house will be getting another call, although I doubt whether the result will be any different.
We gave away our Maytag dishwasher once we purchased the Dacor, and I'm really wishing we hadn't. The Maytag was dependable, and provided consistently clean dishes after a wash cycle. Not so for the Dacor. Even after playing with the soap, etc., as recommended, the dishes aren't coming out as clean as our $400 Maytag.
I'd be willing to throw the thing out, but we've had custom cabinets designed for the 30" width, so we're stuck, unless we'd like to spend another $2000 on an island to accommodate a narrower dishwasher model.
