Did an extensive online search over a 7 day period for best overall unit, this was my #1 pick but was not in stock at local electronics retailers. Noted in a review that one had been purchased at a Target store so I drove the 35 miles and found it (only one left not including the display model), had it up and running 15 minutes after getting home. Good owners manual but the troubleshooting section should have been checked before printing as the wording is difficult to understand. The only problem is that when I played a rented DVD, it kept skipping or freezing until I cleaned the disc but then it was great! Cost was $145 tax which is less than advertised anywhere online for a "new in the box, non-refurb" player, and at least $50 less than my #2 or #3 choices with the same features but available in local stores Good price and features, good looking and has a substantial feel to it. Well worth the drive, if you can find one, buy it!
