Cons: instruction manual not very clear sometimes regarding certain issues, rinse agent dispenser not working (?)
The Bottom Line: Great appliance if you are single and have a small apartment! Really does a fantastic job of cleaning dishes, glasses, and silverware.

I bought my Danby dishwasher back in April of 2005. It has been a great appliance so far! I use it approximately 2 or 3 times a week. With clever and careful placement, you can actually wash saucepans and skillets in the dishwasher, too.
The dishwasher runs very quietly, and I cannot even hear it when I'm in the next room. The faucet hookup is simple and easy. I do recommend that you let your hot water run for a minute or two to insure that you get the hottest water possible going into the dishwasher.
My only complaint/question (which I hope another user can answer for me!) is this: How do you know when to add more rinse agent? I have NOT filled my rinse agent dispenser since April, and every time I unscrew the cap, there is always a little bit of rinse agent in the bottom of the tube. Is this normal? I would've thought the rinse agent I initially put in (approx. 2 ounces) would have run out by now! Do I need to put in 2 ounces of agent every time I run the dishwasher? Unfortunately, the instruction manual is not clear on this at all. Can anybody help me???
Overall, I give this product a 9 out of 10 (only a 9 because of the rinse agent problem/question mentioned above). Occassionally there have been some plates or silverware that did not come out totally clean, but that was only due to heavy, dried-on food debris. I'm very, very happy with my Danby. No problems with leaks, either, like some folks have mentioned.
When the dishes are starting to pile up, the Danby Countertop Dishwasher will provide functionality and convenience. Great for small kitchens with a l...More at Target
