Pros: - Cleans well
- Saves water, detergent and space
Cons: - Timer gets stuck - durability issues
- Can't have too many food particles
The Bottom Line: Danby Dishwasher is good when you don't have enough space, and portability is important, otherwise get a fullsize.

I've had my Danby for under a year. It does a good job of cleaning the dishes, surprisingly even on cooked on pasta.
However it doesn't clean as well when there are are many food particles in the wash. This is because there is only one spray arm (at the bottom) and it doesn't reach the cups on the upper rack as much. Sometimes there are food particles left over in such areas, especially the outside of the cups. As with other dishwashers, ensure you clear your dishes before washing.
Also, there is not pots and pans cycle - still have to do those by hand!
A major concern I have is the timer gets stuck sometimes in the final rinse cycle, which means I always have to be around when I wash a load. This concern also makes me wonder how long the dishwasher can last.
Size - it may seem to be the same as a large microwave, but read the dimensions carefully - it's bigger than you think. I could not fit the dishwasher under my countertop.
Noise - very quiet, I kinda like the sound of water swishing!
Weaknesses aside, I am pleased with my Danby Dishwasher. The small size is perfect for a household of two, and it saves water and detergent. If I could fit it on my countertop, it would have saved space as well. In terms of price, it's only a little less than the cheapest full-size dishwasher which would come with more options. However, if size is important to you, the Danby is a good deal.
