| owenfan1803's Full Review: David Beckham Soccer for PlayStation 1 |
David Beckham one of England, and Manchester United's greatest players to ever step out on the pitch and has joined the gaming community. This game is great and exactly what you would expect from something that was part created by David Beckham himself. You can be any team in the English league or even the Spanish, German, etc... There are different styles of play where you can play arcade mode, season mode, friendly mode. In arcade mode they have games like beat Brazil where you try to beat Brazil with as many teams as you can. There is also survival mode where you play to see how long you can survive in a tournament. In friendly mode you can pick any team to be and any team to play against. In season mode you can pick a team from one of the different European leagues and be them through an entire season. Besides these settings you can also play in many of the same tournaments that the greats play in. There is also a section where you can train with Beckham. In this section you can learn the different controls of the game and train all of the way through the football academy. In the end this game has good graphics you can even see the expressions on the players. And the announcers actually are not annoying like in other games of this type. There are over 440 teams in this game although I have not yet found the U.S. teams. There are also teams that you can unlock and areas to change the teams and make your own players.
